Hi! I’m Ingrid Cvek and I am an Industrial Design student studying in Boston at Wentworth Institute of technology. Even before entering college, I have always been sure I wanted to pursue a career in design. I have always been drawn to a creative approach when tasked with any assignment, drawing and painting always came much easier than writing, and equations.

 

As an aspiring designer with a strong passion for the arts, I have always had the desire to explore the intersections between the many facets of design. I find it inspiring when a designer is able to pull their ideas and inspirations from multiple areas of design, like fashion, sculpture, graphic design, and many others, thus resulting in a much more unique and well rounded product. Through my creative journey, I have found that my love for art is deeply rooted in my upbringing, having a parent with a large knowledge of design and architecture subconsciously ignited my interest, and with the help of my future teachers and life experiences it became my passion. To me, design is an ever evolving reflection of history, human experience, and love. It is where we can feel free to explore an endless amount of ideas and solutions to a world with an unlimited supply of problems. I look forward to finding solutions to help better our lives and experiences as well as our planet.
